Skidd for customs & compliance leads

e-CSD changed the rules. You're the one accountable for every EU departure carrying the right OCI fields, every Regulated Agent designator on file, every audit answer ready. Your current platform either charges extra for the e-CSD module or doesn't support it at all.

Why e-CSD changed your job

The IATA electronic Customs Security Declaration shifted air cargo security from a paper-and-PDF process to a structured field on every outbound shipment. EU departures need OCI fields populated correctly on the FWB. Misses are an audit finding; repeat misses jeopardise your Regulated Agent status.

Most platforms responded by selling e-CSD as a paid bolt-on. Skidd ships it in Free.

What you get

RA designators per station

Each station has its Regulated Agent designator (NO/RA3/etc.) configured in the platform. Skidd keeps the mapping; the FWB composer reads it on emission. No copy-paste, no spreadsheet, no expired designator slipping through.

Security declaration captured at acceptance

When a warehouse op accepts the shipment, they sign the security declaration in the same keyboard flow. Operator, timestamp, and the structured payload land in the audit log. The shipment can’t progress to MAN without the declaration.

OCI fields auto-emitted on outbound FWB

The FWB composer guards EU departures: if the route triggers the EU rule, OCI fields populate from the captured declaration and the station’s RA. No FWB leaves the system half-compliant.

Compliance readiness dashboard

The Security console shows you, at-a-glance, which of your stations are configured for e-CSD and which aren’t. Configured count vs total. Missing RA designators called out. Master tenant gates (ecsd_enabled, outbound_fwb_enabled) visible per environment.

What auditors actually ask

QuestionWhere Skidd answers it
”Show me an EU departure FWB with its OCI fields”Messaging inbox — filter by direction = outbound, station = EU
”Who signed this security declaration?”Shipment audit trail — operator, IP, timestamp, request id
”Which stations are still missing an RA designator?”Security console readiness dashboard
”How do you stop a non-compliant FWB from going out?”Composer guard refuses emission; audit log records the rejection

What it costs

Nothing. e-CSD is in Free at your first 1×1 station. Every additional airline-station you add via Pro inherits the same compliance posture. We don’t sell compliance as a tier upgrade because compliance isn’t a feature — it’s the floor.
