24-state engine
Every IATA cargo lifecycle state from RCS through DLV is modelled as an explicit transition — no free-text status fields, no guesswork. Invalid state jumps are rejected at the API layer before they reach the database.
Keyboard shortcuts (T/R/C/D/A/B)
Single-key dispatch for the most common dock actions: T to tender, R to receive, C to clear security, D to deliver, A to accept, B to build up. Designed for eight-hour warehouse shifts where mouse clicks are expensive.
Replay audit
Every state transition is stamped with operator, timestamp, and a cryptographic sequence number. The full event log is queryable — replay any shipment's history to the second for compliance or dispute resolution.
Station-scope RLS
Row-level security enforces station boundaries at the database layer. A dock supervisor at NCE sees only NCE freight — no application-level filter that can be bypassed, no accidental cross-station data bleed.
Live flight tracking
Provider-neutral flight-status polling — Avinor for Nordic airports, FlightRadar24 everywhere else — running every minute with cadence buckets and delay computation. Observed departures and arrivals auto-cascade to the canonical DEP/ARR of every linked shipment after a grace period, so status updates and outbound FSU/FFM fire without manual keying.
Multi-source schedules
Load flights from an authenticated SSIM (Chapter-7) upload, or let Skidd seed and refresh schedules automatically per station and airline. SSIM and manual entries always hold authority — they supersede the managed AirLabs ingest rather than being overwritten by it.
Arrivals & delivery
The inbound half of the lifecycle is first-class, not an afterthought: RCF acceptance, NFD (notify-for-delivery), DLV with proof-of-delivery, and DMCA/FDCA discrepancy handling. Import and transfer freight run through the same explicit state engine as export build-up.
ULD build guard
A depart-time guard blocks departure whenever AWBs still sit on a ULD that hasn't been atomically built onto the flight. It stops the FFM from silently falling back to bulk — so the manifest that leaves the station matches what is physically loaded.
